Baku is a vibrant modern metropolis with more than 2,000,000 residents, spanning some 2,130 square kilometers. Glosec rolled out a complex Safe City project, that helps city officials manage the every day routine and prepare for any city-wide emergency.

A major challenge was the traffic flow in the city. The Baku executive authority decided to implement a new traffic management system. Glosec accepted the challenge, conducted a site survey, and designed the traffic management system for the entire metropolitan area. Glosec also installed new traffic lights at 150 junctions, linking them all to a central system, with CCTV monitoring the junctions for both traffic flow and security purposes
